Link 6 Feb Diana Levine is my HERO.»

Thursday, February 5th 2010 marked the second to last day of Social Media Week where essentially, bloggers and social media elite gather to discuss well, Social Media and it’s various forms such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and the like. Having been a former blogger at The Tragically Unhip that saw a vast following before my Editor took a lengthy enough hiatus (moving from Montreal to NY back to Montreal again) that it now remains mostly dormant with sporadic postings here and there; I’ve enjoyed my time documenting the fabulous and mundane aspects of city living and relationships with women (ie: how I keep myself from becoming completely disenchanted with the idea of living with another human being posessing a vagina and hormonal imbalance). But now I get to partake in events like this without actually needing to be a part of it.

Part of the perks of events like this is meeting and being photographed by one of my favorite photographers here in NYC: Diana Levine. I’d have to say she’s one of the few photographers whose work really inspires me to pick up a camera again and seeing the ease of her work just inspires me more.

My friends and I (who, the majority of, are involved in social media as active bloggers et al) were photographed pretty heavily by Diana and she did a fantastic job capturing well, the natural element of what my nights are like with my friends.

Sometimes wild, sometimes endearing, always memorable. Thanks, Diana.
